abstract This British Geological Survey (BGS) regional marine sampling survey took place from August to December 1985 on board the British Magnus. Seabed samples and cores were collected using Shipek grab, Vibrocorer, Gravity corer, rock drill and sediment dredge. These data are archived by BGS. Trials of a camera grab were also undertaken. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS Internal Reports WB/85/12-14, 16, 17, 19, 21 & 23.
