abstract |
This marine sampling survey took place in the Irish Sea on board the RV Calanus as part of a study funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The survey was carried out by the British Geological Survey (BGS). The purpose was collection of sediment cores and macrofauna along the coastal margin immediately offshore of the Sellafield site in Cumbria. Seabed samples were collected using a box corer. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS Technical Report WB/99/18C.
