abstract This marine sampling survey took place December 2002 in the River Clyde between Milton and the Gorbals on board Big Buster. The British Geological Survey (BGS) carried out the survey on behalf of Glasgow City Council. The aim was to investigate estuarine geochemistry. Seabed samples were collected using a Van Veen grab and Mackereth piston corer. Surface Water Samples were also collected. Technical details of the survey and sample analyses are contained in BGS Report CR/04/057R.
