abstract This geophysical and diving survey took place in June 1990 in Loch Finlaggan on the Isle of Islay on board a 13ft dory. The survey was carried out by British Geological Survey (BGS) for National Museum of Scotland. The purpose was to collect data bathymetry and carry out a geological assessment for an archaeological programme. Sea floor data were collected using a Seascribe Mark 2 echosounder. Geological data were collected using divers. These data were recorded analogue and are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS report WB/90/32.
